Mary Sheehy, ARPA Senior Project Manager

Written by GrantWorks, Inc.

Mary Sheehy is an ARPA Senior Project Manager at GrantWorks with 16 years of experience in project management and state/federal residential programs. Mary has a background working with the Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program, low-income housing development, and energy-efficiency residential upgrades.

Mary previously worked with the Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, Elevation, Mitigation (RREM) program to aid several communities throughout New Jersey that were impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

She served as the program manager and directly worked with homeowners to guide them through the RREM process. Mary oversaw details including the scope of work development, financial reviews, payment of RREM funds, debarment search on selected contractors, and more.

When reflecting on her experience with disaster recovery and the lessons she learned, Mary recognized how essential it was to connect with homeowners quickly and format contracts, invoices, and reports consistently for organized submittals to contractors. Mary saw that many families were waiting on the much-needed funds for their home repairs, and her goal was to ensure community members received the help they needed quickly and efficiently.
